A Summer Full of Science, Stories, and Discovery at Santa Inez

This summer, our Santa Inez children explored ten themes packed with science, art, and movement.

We opened with Spirit Week and fizzy sun science. We dove Under the Sea, with a foam party, dancing jellyfish crafts, and a bubble wrap fish. Our Picnic Parties week brought fruit kabobs, yogurt parfaits, and homemade butter.

Midsummer drew us into the garden, where the children planted seeds and lingered at an herb smelling station, before Farm Friends arrived with tractor painting and cotton ball sheep.

From there, the season only grew. Our Dinosaurs theme brought a dinosaur dig, a visit from the Lizard Lady, and an erupting volcano. Transportation week filled our tables with paper mache cars. Bugs and Insects brought the discovery lab to life. Color Splash closed things out with rainbow experiments, tie dye shirts, and a classroom dance party.

Our children built new skills, tried new things, and made summer memories together.
