ADMISSIONS

A Thoughtful Process

At Strata Learning Collective, learning is built over time.

Because our programs serve different ages and operate in different contexts, admissions processes vary by program. Some programs require an inquiry and conversation, while others allow direct registration when space is available.

Each pathway is outlined below so families can quickly understand what to expect.

This time is designed to support a thoughtful and intentional start to the day.

Early Learning Admissions

A Thoughtful Start at Strata

Our Early Learning admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and intentional. We take time to understand each child and family and to ensure alignment between our program and your goals for early learning.

Admission to Strata is about fit, readiness, and shared expectations.

Step 1: Family Tour (Required)

All interested families begin with a school tour.

Tours offer an opportunity to experience our learning environments, observe how children engage with materials and peers, and ask questions about daily rhythms, curriculum, and care. Tours help families understand how our Reggio-informed approach shows up in practice and help us begin to get to know you and your child.

Step 2: Review and Acceptance

Following the tour, our Director reviews availability and program fit. Families are contacted directly regarding admission status and the earliest possible start date.

Communication is timely and personal. We prioritize clarity so families can plan with confidence.

Step 3: Enrollment and Transition

Once a space is offered and accepted, our team supports families through enrollment and the transition into the classroom. We focus on thoughtful starts that help children build comfort, connection, and trust from the beginning.

Waitlist Process

When programs are at capacity, families may choose to join our waitlist.

  • A $50 non-refundable fee is required to join the waitlist

  • Families are contacted as space becomes available

  • Placement is based on availability and program alignment

We value the patience of families on our waitlist and communicate as openings arise.

Our Commitment

Early Learning at Strata is rooted in strong relationships. From the first conversation through enrollment, our goal is to create a process that feels respectful, transparent, and aligned with the care we provide every day.

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL

Strata’s before and after school programs extend the learning day with reliable care, meaningful activities, and space for connection. Programs operate on the school-year schedule and are available at select locations.

Boy Playing Outside
WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Happy Hall. From day one, the staff welcomed our family with open arms and made us feel right at home. Our son has grown so much. He’s more confident, social, and engaged. They go beyond academics, helping kids develop respect and kindness toward others. We’ve looked at other programs, but Happy Hall’s approach stands out because they genuinely focus on each child’s strengths and needs. It’s a special place, and we’re grateful to be part of it.
