Strata Learning Collective
Learning that grows with children. Strata Learning Collective supports children from infancy through the school years across early learning, school-age programs, and camps.
We partner with families, schools, and districts to create learning environments grounded in how children grow, think, and develop over time. Our work prioritizes curiosity, collaboration, and intentional practice across all programs and settings.
What We Do
Strata offers programs that support children at different stages of development while maintaining a consistent approach to learning, relationships, and care.
Our work spans:
-
Early Learning programs for young children
-
After-School programs in partnership with school districts
-
Camps that extend learning beyond the school year
Each program is designed to meet the needs of its context while staying grounded in how children learn best.
Our Approach
At Strata, learning is built over time.
Children develop understanding by exploring ideas, working with others, and revisiting questions as their thinking grows. Research shows that learning deepens when children engage actively, reflect on their experiences, and build knowledge through social interaction rather than through isolated or rushed instruction.

Educators observe closely and design experiences that extend learning with intention and care. Our approach emphasizes hands-on exploration, collaboration, and reflection, supporting both cognitive growth and emotional development.
Supporting Executive Function Development
Strata prioritizes the development of executive function skills, which research has shown are among the strongest predictors of learning readiness, adaptability, and long-term success.

Executive function includes the mental processes that help children focus, remember information, manage impulses, and adapt to new situations. These skills develop most rapidly in early childhood and continue to strengthen through meaningful experiences across ages.
Our Programs
Strata Learning Collective offers programs designed to support children across different ages and settings, grounded in a shared approach to learning and care.
Early Learning
Infants through Pre-K
Strata’s Early Learning programs support children during the most formative years of development. Experiences are designed to strengthen executive function, communication, and independence through exploration, collaboration, and intentional teaching. These early years establish strong foundations for learning, relationships, and self-regulation.
After School
TK through Grade 6
Strata’s Beofer and After School programs support children beyond the school day in partnership with schools and districts. Learning experiences balance structure and flexibility through projects, collaboration, movement, and choice. These programs strengthen social development, problem-solving, and sustained engagement.

Camp Strata
TK through Grade 12
Strata’s Camps support children and adolescents through immersive experiences during school breaks and summer. Learning experiences emphasize exploration, creativity, collaboration, and leadership in age-appropriate ways. These programs encourage curiosity, teamwork, and confidence beyond the classroom.
