FAMILY EVENTS
Connecting Families to Learning
Family engagement is an important part of our early learning communities. Throughout the year, Strata hosts events that invite families into the life of our programs, offering opportunities to connect, reflect, and spend time together in the learning environment.

These events are designed to support relationships between children, families, and educators, and to give families a window into how learning unfolds day to day. They are simple, meaningful moments that strengthen community and shared understanding.
Classroom Orientation
(August)
Kick off the school year with a virtual orientation to meet your child’s teachers and get familiar with daily routines, policies, and classroom goals. Learn about communication tools and resources to help you feel confident and prepared as part of the Happy Hall community.
Family Fun
(June)
Join us for Family Fun, an exciting event filled with engaging activities for families to enjoy together. This special afternoon offers a variety of fun experiences designed to bring our preschool community together for a memorable time. Bring your family and join in the fun as we celebrate the spirit of connection and play!
Park Day
(September)
Spend a sunny morning in our outdoor spaces, where children can enjoy free play while families and staff connect in an informal setting. This event encourages new friendships and strengthens the sense of community. Bring water bottles and a snack for your child as you relax and socialize.
Year-End Celebration
(July/August)
Join us for a Year-End Celebration as we wrap up a fantastic year together! Each class will host its own special gathering filled with fun activities and moments to reflect on the year’s highlights. Connect with other families, celebrate your child’s growth, and enjoy this meaningful event planned by your child’s teachers. We look forward to seeing you there!
Winter Celebration
(December)
Celebrate the season with a festive classroom gathering. Families can enjoy seasonal crafts, a special performance by the children, and activities that showcase their creativity and learning. This event is a fun way to come together and reflect on the year’s highlights before the holiday break.
Events may vary by location or classroom to reflect the needs of each learning community. Details and timing are shaped by the children, families, and educators involved. For the most current information, families are encouraged to connect directly with their program team.
