Bugs, Butterflies, and Family Fun Wrapped Up Our Week at Santa Inez

Last week, our Santa Inez classrooms took on a bugs and insects theme, and our children dove into every part of it.

They moved like insects in a movement game and got up close with real specimens in our discovery lab. They made paper plate ladybugs and built their own bug jars. They assembled popsicle stick butterflies and crafted firefly suncatchers to carry home.

We closed out the week, and the month, at Family Fun Night, over music, hot dogs, and chips.

Next week brings a Color Splash theme, full of hands-on science about how color works.

WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING

"[Strata Learning Academy] is the absolute best. Our kids are thriving here! I cannot say enough good things about the program! Our oldest just started kindergarten this year and went to [Strata Learning Academy] through TK, couldn't have been prepared any better! The teachers go way above and beyond! Our two little ones are here too and again, learning so much week after week thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff! They make it feel like a home away from home :) I would 100% recommend [Strata Learning Academy] to any family looking for care, learning, and growing!"
