Our Little Studio Creators Wrapped Up July at Dolores Way

Last week, our Dolores Way classrooms became a working art studio for our Studio Creators theme, and our children dove right in.
They tried tape masking, laying tape into patterns, painting over the top, then peeling it away to reveal the design underneath. They made prints with sunlight and fresh leaves. They shaped mosaics, clay sculptures, and paper mache until color covered every table.
When your child chooses their own materials and sees a project through, they build the focus and planning that last for years. Our educators loved watching each child decide what to make next.
Next week we set sail for ocean adventures, with Waterplay on Tuesday and a Foam Party on Friday. Please send your child in a bathing suit both days.
